Three-Day Children In order to make up a full three-day week, all three-day children are invited to attend school on EITHER Thursday or Friday this week and next (we will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day). Please let your teacher know which is your preference.
KMS Picnic, Sept. 8, 5:30 p.m. Please join us next Wednesday afternoon for a schoolwide picnic on the school grounds at 5:30 p.m.
• It's always fun to see what's for dinner next door, so we encourage families to bring a dish to share with others. • If you're on the run and don't have time to cook, that's fine too! • Just be sure to bring a picnic dinner for your family and a blanket or chairs to sit on. • In order to conserve waste, please provide your own plates, napkins and utensils for eating. We will provide cups and drinks.
Peanut Alert Both Primary 2 (Mary-Lou and Tabitha) and Primary 3 (Katie and Hilary) have children with peanut allergies. Class snacks for these rooms must be nut-free. Please check the labels of any purchased items to be sure there are no peanuts or nut products. Individual lunches may contain peanut products, but please be sure that your child has washed hands and face before arriving at school.
Classroom Reminders
• Every child should have a full change of clothes stored in their bathroom cubby. Children in the full-day program should also have an extra set of clothes in the Common Room. • Thank you for continuing to apply sunscreen in the morning. • Children should arrive to school with a backpack and a pair of inside shoes. • Jewellery and toys (including Silly Bandz) should be left at home. Children in the Full Day program may bring a comfort object for rest time.
